설치 미술가, 배우, 행위 예술가 등 다양한 분야를 가로지르며 활동 중인 백현진 작가가 연출하는 세종 문화회관의 여름 시즌 프로그램 《싱크 넥스트 23(Sync Next 23)》 '백현진 쑈 : 공개방송'이 진행됩니다.
《싱크 넥스트 23》은 시대를 선도해온 아티스트의 실험성에 더해 분야의 다양성과 대중성 확장으로 예술을 말미암아, 세상에 존재하는 무수한 경계를 허물고자 하는 프로그램을 진행합니다.
본 공연에서 백현진은 연출가와 극작가이며, 가수이자 작곡가, 배우이자 진행자로 나서며 숙고해왔던 문명과 생각, 감정을 재료로 삼아 퍼포먼스, 비디오, 설치미술, 토크쇼 등 보이는 것과 들리는 것 모두를 이용한 다매체로 표현하며, 그만의 독특한 융합적인 형태의 '쑈' 를 선보입니다. 공연은 9월 1일부터 3일까지.
Bek Hyunjin, who has been performing across diverse fields as an installation artist, performance artist and actor, directs a program, Bek Hyunjin Show : Live Broadcast_Sync Next 23, which is one of the programs of the summer season at Sejong Center For the Performing Arts.
Sync Next 23 has presented programs related to blurring many boundaries that exist in the world from arts by expanding fields diversity and popularity along with last year's artistic experiment.
In this performance, Bek Hyunjin will work as a director, dramaturge, singer, actor, and host, presenting his own special Show, which combines artistic factors such as performance, video, installation art, and talk show, expressed with various media using visible and audible things by having materials about civilization, thought and emotion.
