올해 처음 개최되는 공공예술 축제인 Manar Abu Dhabi는, '지면의 빛'이라는 주제를 통해 아랍에미레이트의 자연적 아름다움을 제시합니다.
본 행사에서 카스텐 홀러는 Dots 시리즈의 두 번째 작품인 <Abu Dhabi Dots>를 통해 관람자가 직접 작품에 참여하여 네 가지 색, 20 개 원의 스포트라이트 색을 바꾸어나갈 수 있게 하여 일종의 '게임'을 즐길 수 있게 합니다. 작품을 구성하는 땅, 빛, 예술, 그리고 사람과 같은 다양한 요소 간의 상호작용을 유발하며 작품의 일부가 되는 경험을 선사합니다.
Carsten Höller, who employs his scientific knowledge for installation art works, presents 𝘈𝘣𝘶 𝘋𝘩𝘢𝘣𝘪 𝘋𝘰𝘵𝘴 at 𝘔𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘳 𝘈𝘣𝘶 𝘋𝘩𝘢𝘣𝘪 Festival.
𝘔𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘳 𝘈𝘣𝘶 𝘋𝘩𝘢𝘣𝘪, which first celebrates this year and is a festival for public art, suggests the natural beauty of whole UAE through the subject about 'grounding lights'.
At this Festival, Carsten Höller presents 𝘈𝘣𝘶 𝘋𝘩𝘢𝘣𝘪 𝘋𝘰𝘵𝘴, the second 𝘋𝘰𝘵𝘴 series. Viewers can change their circle color that has four colors comprised 20 spotlights, like playing a game. The work makes an interactive between comprising elements, such as ground, light, art, and people, and give us some experiences for being a part of the work.
