아르코미술관에서 «예술 학교: 우리가 서로의 학교가 될 때»가 열리고 있습니다. 이번 전시는 예술가들이 스스로 조직한 공동 학습과 창작 협력 프로그램 및 단체를 ‘예술 학교’로 바라보며, 그 배경과 활동을 조망합니다. 8개 팀, 42명의 작가가 참여합니다.
김지원(b.1961)은 지난 30여 년간 ‘그리기’라는 미적 행위에 매진하며 회화의 본질을 탐구해 온 작가입니다. 이번 전시에서는 행복반의 초대작가로 참여해 두 점의 회화와 에세이를 선보입니다. ‹밝은 미래를 설계하는 책상›(2001)은 미술 잡지에서 발견한 박이소의 설치 작업 도판에서 영감을 받아 그린 작품이며, ‹비슷한 벽 앞에서›(2002)는 다양한 시대의 작가들을 한자리에 그린 작업입니다. 전시는 9월 27일까지.
𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘈𝘳𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘓𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨: 𝘉𝘦𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘌𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘖𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳'𝘴 𝘚𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘭 is currently on view at ARKO Art Center. The exhibition explores artist-led forms of collective learning and creative collaboration, bringing together eight groups and 42 artists.
Kim Jiwon (b.1961) has spent the past 30 years exploring the essence of painting through the aesthetic act of ‘drawing and painting.’ For this exhibition, he participates as a guest artist invited by Happiness Class, presenting two paintings and an essay. His 2001 work, inspired by an image of a Park Yiso installation found in an art magazine, and 𝘐𝘯 𝘍𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘚𝘪𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘢𝘳 𝘞𝘢𝘭𝘭 (2002), which depicts artists from different periods gathered in a single scene, are presented alongside the works of Happiness Class. On view through September 27.
