김지원 작가가 스페이스몸미술관에서 열리는 단체전 «시간의 지층: 장소를 말하다‹기억‧신호‧공존›»에 참여합니다. 이번 전시는 청주 남석교와 육거리시장, 오송 궁평리 등 지역의 장소에 축적된 시간과 기억을 동시대 미술의 시선으로 조명합니다. 개인의 기억과 일상의 풍경을 통해 도시의 역사와 사회적 변화를 읽어내는 회화 작업을 이어온 김지원은 이번 전시에서 땅속에 묻힌 남석교를 그려냅니다. 남석교의 옛 흑백 사진에 AI가 입힌 색채를 참조하고, 청주의 고지도에 남아 있는 다리와 시가지의 형상을 다시 그리며 기록과 상상이 교차하는 지점에서 가려져 있던 도시의 시간을 되짚습니다. 전시는 11월 14일까지.
Kim Jiwon participates in a group exhibition at SPACEMOM MUSEUM OF ART. The exhibition explores the layers of time and memory accumulated in local sites through the lens of contemporary art. Through personal memories and everyday landscapes, Kim’s paintings examine urban history and social change. For this exhibition, Kim depicts a buried bridge, drawing on historical black-and-white photographs colorized using AI and old maps of Cheongju. Through the interplay of historical records and imagination, she revisits the city’s obscured past. On view through November 14.
