구정아(b.1967)의 개인전 «우스모스(OUSSSMOS)»가 오는 9월 5일 리움미술관에서 개막합니다.
이번 전시는 국내에서 열리는 최대 규모의 개인전으로, 1990년대 초기작부터 이번 전시를 위해 제작한 대형 신작에 이르기까지 주요 작품 35점을 선보입니다.
하나의 의미로 고정되지 않은 채 끊임없이 다른 상태에 접속하는 ‘우스(OUSSS)’는 구정아가 1990년대 중반부터 발전시켜 온 고유한 개념입니다. 이번에는 리움미술관이라는 구체적인 장소와 만나, 로비와 건물 사이, 벽 뒤의 공간, 고미술 전시장 등 미술관 곳곳에서 관람객을 맞이합니다. 전시는 12월 27일까지.

The artist’s largest solo exhibition in Korea to date, the exhibition presents 35 major works ranging from early pieces of the 1990s to large-scale new works commissioned for the exhibition.
𝘖𝘜𝘚𝘚𝘚, a concept Koo has developed since the mid-1990s, is not fixed to a single meaning but continually connects to different states. This time, it encounters Leeum Museum of Art as a specific site, welcoming visitors across the museum—from the lobby and exhibition galleries to the traditional Korean art galleries and outdoor spaces.
