우리의 인식을 환기하는 작업으로 현대미술계의 흐름을 선도해온 올라퍼 엘리아슨의 개인전 «Olafur Eliasson: A harmonious cycle of interconnected nows»이 도쿄 Azabudai Hills Gallery에서 2024년 3월 31일까지 진행됩니다.
아자부다이 힐스 갤러리의 개관과 함께 진행되는 본 전시는, 자연 현상과 더불어 자연을 구성하는 빛, 색, 움직임을 통한 새로운 지각 경험을 선사하여 자연과의 관계에 대한 새로운 해석을 유도합니다.
올라퍼엘리아슨은 본 전시에서 전시명과 동일한 이름의 신작 <A harmonious cycle of interconnected nows>을 비롯해 자연 현상, 기하학, 물리, 움직임과 패턴에 대한 연구를 기반으로 한 작품을 선보이며, 우리가 인지하지 못했던 자연의 새로운 아름다움을 발견하게 합니다.
Olafur Eliasson, who is renowned in the contemporary art world for works that address perception, presents art works in his solo exhibition Olafur Eliasson: A harmonious cycle of interconnected nows which runs at Azabudai Hills Gallery in Tokyo until March 31th, 2024.
With the opening of Azabudai Hills Gallery, this exhibition invites fresh interpretations of the world and our relationship with nature through new perceptual experiences guided by natural phenomena and their constituent elements of color, light, and movement.
Olafur Eliasson presents his works, including A harmonious cycle of interconnected nows, which shares its title with the exhibition, supported by research into natural phenomena, geometry, physics, movement and patterns. It will make us find new beauty in the nature that we can't recognize in everyday life.
