우리의 인식을 전환하는 작업으로 현대 미술계를 선도해 온 국제적인 작가, 올라퍼 엘리아슨의 동남아시아 첫 전시회가 싱가포르 아트 뮤지엄, SAM에서 열리고 있습니다.
관람객의 감각을 일깨우고, 주변 세계에 대해 경험과 자각을 유도하는 작업을 이어온 작가는 해당 전시에서 오늘날의 사회적이고 환경적인 문제가 제시하는 다양한 관점을 관람객으로 하여금 발견하게 합니다.
작가는 본 전시에서 30년간 탐구한 빛, 바람, 안개, 물과 같은 일시적이고 비물질주의적인 요소를 사용해 우리 주변의 보이지 않는 요소를 경험할 수 있도록 공간을 구현합니다. 무형의 물질을 사용해서 일시적인 현상을 불러일으키는 작가의 탐구 방식을 경험할 수 있습니다. 전시는 9월 22일까지.
The first Southeast Asia exhibition 𝘖𝘭𝘢𝘧𝘶𝘳 𝘌𝘭𝘪𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘰𝘯: 𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴 𝘫𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘺, an international artist who has led the contemporary art world with his work transforming our perception, is on presnting at the Singapore Art Museum.
The artist, who has been working to awaken the senses of visitors and induce experience and awareness of the world around us, allows visitors to discover the various perspectives presented by today's social and environmental issues in this exhibition.
The artist embodies the space so that we can experience invisible elements around us, using temporary and immaterial elements such as light, wind, fog, and water that he have explored for 30 years in this exhibition. Visitors can experience the artist's way of exploration that uses ephemeral and intangible materials to conjure evanescent phenomena. The exhibition runs until Sept. 22.
