팩토리2에서는 이원우 개인전 «Dreamy Museum»이 진행 중입니다.
전시 제목이자 작품명인 ‘Dreamy Museum’은 다양한 미술관을 축소한 듯한 공간입니다. 그는 스스로를 “삶을 환기시키는 작업을 하며, 관객이 경험하는 상황을 조각하는 사람”이라 말합니다. 이번 전시에서는 관객이 작품 속으로 들어가 각자의 기억과 감정을 탐색하도록 유도합니다. 2015년에 완성된 후 처음 공개되는 〈분노의 미술관, MoMA: Museum of Modern Anger〉를 비롯해 팩토리2 내, 외부 공간을 모티프로 한 〈Dreamy Museum: Factory3〉, 거울 구조를 통해 무한히 확장되는 공간을 구현한 〈Dreamy Museum: Infinite Dance 03〉 등 신작들이 공개되며, 조명과 재료, 구조를 통해 ‘작은 미술관’이 현실의 전시 공간으로 확장되는 가능성을 제시합니다. 전시는 11월 9일까지.

The title work 𝘋𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘮𝘺 𝘔𝘶𝘴𝘦𝘶𝘮 reimagines various museum architectures in reduced form, exploring how familiar objects and memories can be transformed into sculptural experiences. Describing himself as “a sculptor of lived situations,” Lee invites viewers to enter his works and rediscover their own memories and emotions. The exhibition features newly unveiled and reconfigured pieces, including 𝘔𝘶𝘴𝘦𝘶𝘮 𝘰𝘧 𝘔𝘰𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘯 𝘈𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳 (𝘔𝘰𝘔𝘈) (2015–2025), 𝘋𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘮𝘺 𝘔𝘶𝘴𝘦𝘶𝘮: 𝘍𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘺𝟥, inspired by the gallery’s own architecture, and 𝘋𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘮𝘺 𝘔𝘶𝘴𝘦𝘶𝘮: 𝘐𝘯𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘦 𝘋𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝟢𝟥, a mirrored structure that creates the illusion of infinite spatial expansion. Through light, material, and structure, Lee offers a poetic meditation on how a “small museum” can unfold into an experiential and architectural reality.
