한국 현대미술의 거장 故 윤형근 화백의 작품을 부산시립미술관의 소장품 기획전 《영점》에서 만나볼 수 있습니다.
부산시립미술관이 지난 25년간 축적해온 소장품을 선보이는 이번 전시는, 전시 제목인 《영점》 이담은 두 가지 의미인 ‘시작점’과 양자물리학의 예측 불가능한 에너지로 채워진 진공상태를 의미하는 ‘영점 에너지 (zero-point energy)’의 개념을 확장하여 미술관의 과거와 현재를 조명함으로써 부산 미술의 정체성을 확인하고자 합니다.
본 전시에서는 청색과 다색(umber), 두 색의 혼합 안료로 만들어낸 직관적 비례감을 통해 작가가 추구해온 미학을 이어가며, 재료와 형태의 단순함으로 환원했던 서구 미니멀리즘을 포괄함으로써 깊이 있는 독창성을 드러낸 <Burnt Umber & Ultramarine Blue>가 소개됩니다. 전시는 8월 27일까지.
Yun Hyong-keun, leading figure of Korean modern and contemporary art, presents his work in Zero – Point, collection exhibition by Busan Museum of Art.
This exhibition by Busan Museum of Art, displayed BMA collection which has been collected for 25 years, will show us artistic identity of Busan, focusing on their past and future which are expanded from start point and zero-point energy that means vacuum state with unpredicted energy from quantum physics related to the name of the exhibition, Zero – Point.
Yun Hyong-keun created works with the mixed color of umber and blue ink and his intuitive sense of proportion. In this exhibition, Burnt Umber & Ultramarine Blue, one of his works, is displayed showing the distinctive originality of Yun, as it succeeds Chusa’s aesthetics that he had continuously admired and embraced the notion of the Western minimalism about simplicity in material and form. Zero – Point runs until August 27 th.
